Earth Hour - Turn Off Your Lights, Tonight!
Many of our customers are in the Green Industry, and eco-awareness, particularly water conservation, are important issues. But there’s no reason to stop at water.
TODAY at 8:30pm is the time for “Earth Hour”, when your business, residence, and whomever else you can influence turns out the lights for one hour in dedication to conservation and a concern for this earth.
Earth Hour is a project started in 2007 in Australia with the World Wildlife Fund, and has grown to nearly 1.8 billion (with a b) supporters taking part all over the globe. Some of the world’s greatest landmarks, from Egypt’s pyramids (wait, they have lights!?) to the Empire State Building all take part, and it's grown to be a major - if quiet - event.
