5 Ways to Help Your Lawn Care Employees Beat the Heat
With the recent heat rolling through much of the US, your lawn care employees are probably struggling with the heat.  Not only is it uncomfortable, it can really take a toll on the body.  By the time blow outs begin, your team may be ready to crash.

Our 3 Favorite “Shares” From This Week

1.  Multitasking: Are You Working Hard or Hardly Working?
Multitasking is often praised as a way to be super productive, but the term “multitasking” may actually be a misnomer. When was it universally decided and accepted that we could be adept, even efficient, at juggling various tasks?

2.  As Heat Wave Intensifies, How to Prepare for a Power Outage
Scorching heat. Oppressive humidity. This is the forecast for most parts of the Northeast and Midwest U.S. this week. For the next few days, temperatures are expected to be in the 90s, and the heat index could reach 100 degrees or higher, according to the National Weather Service.

3.  Get Recognized
Quality Irrigation in Omaha is an award-winning company. In fact, the business has won quite an impressive number of awards considering they are a relatively young business (currently celebrating their 10th year). While it’s always a nice honor to win things, company founder and president Ryan Jardine says there’s been other benefits as well.

Chad’s Post

Hi, I’m Chad, the Marketing Manager for HindSite. In each week’s HindSite’s Weekly HindSight article, we’re going to let one of HindSite’s fine employees share one of their favorite videos from the Internet. Or a story. Or just generally do whatever they want. We’ve got a great team here, and we’re hoping this weekly blog post helps you get to know our guys and gals a little bit better. So without further ado, let’s get started.
I have the dubious distinction of leading off this column.  I struggled with what to do. I mean, there’s lots of crazy sh*t on the Internet. But then I thought I’d pick something close to home.

HindSite is based in St. Paul, Minnesota. There have been a number of St. Paul luminaries, especially in baseball, with Hall of Famers Dave Winfield, Paul Molitor and future Hall of Famer Joe Mauer (who, like our own support manager, recently had twins) among those raised in St. Paul. St. Paul is home to the Minnesota Wild NHL hockey team and the St. Paul Saints, an unaffiliated minor league baseball team. Businesses like Ecolab, Travelers and Pearson’s Candy Company call St. Paul home.  It’s the birthplace of Hamm’s beer, a constant companion in my college days (can you believe you could get 36 cans for 12 bucks? That’s like 33 cents a can!) Speaking of colleges, St. Paul is also home to four great private colleges – Macalester, Hamline, St. Thomas and St. Kate’s. Oh, and it’s the Minnesota state capital.

But perhaps the greatest thing St. Paul has to offer the world is the comedic genius that was Mitch Hedberg. So without further ado, I give you  a half hour of St. Paul’s own, Mitch Hedberg.
