HindSite's Founder on HVACChannel.tv - This Friday!

This Friday, David Crary – our fearless leader, former service contractor, and lifetime entrepreneur – will be joining Ruth King of TurnOnMyFinancialLightbulb.com on HVACChannel.tv.

David will be talking about how so much of your revenue is tied up in the details, and getting into the details really mean getting good information.

The core concept is this: Your revenue doesn’t actually come from maintenance plans and service calls. That work, in fact, just represents cost (labor cost, supplier costs, etc.). No, revenue really comes from properly managing the work and sending out the bill. The invoice is what really gets you and your service business paid, and the invoice is really just information collected from the field.

If that information isn’t accurate, you are missing billable items: time, materials, other upcharges, or even opportunities for return visits and upsells.

Crary faced the same challenges in his own business, and he’ll talk about why contractors are really in the information business. He’ll also cover the tools you need to make your business more profitable, easier to control, and giving a foundation to grow on. This includes, when it comes to software, the decision to custom develop or buy, and things to consider when shopping for a field service software solution.

Come learn why it’s so important for a contractor to focus on their business in terms of managing information, why they money is in the details, and how to get more of it.
