Summer is officially here. Which means your days gain more sunlight and better weather (hopefully). This also means a chance for your field services management company to grow.
Days filled with nicer weather means big potential for your company to have more customers. If it’s financially possible, lengthen your work days. Offer services for as long as the sun is up. Customers will appreciate having more time to choose when a service is done. Plus, more jobs can be done in one day, meaning more jobs done overall. This will generate more money for you, more money for your techs, and more money for the company.
Again if money allows, hire an assistant. Summer vacation means many students looking for summer jobs. Hire those that can help around the office or out in the field to make the job a little easier.
Save money both in the office and out by opening up the windows! Ask your techs to use the windows when it’s not deathly humid out and do the same in the office. You’ll save on air conditioning costs and the fresh air will do you good!

The summer is also a great time to work on morale within the company. At the end of the work week, have a grill out for all your employees. Hang out, enjoy the weather and just relax. It’ll be good for the entire company to kick back after a long week of working hard.
